Your responsibilities
Building and extending a modern financial platform and products built on top processing €4B+ per year
Developing interfaces between web/application and APIs through various protocols
Developing batch applications in JAVA
Testing and automating processes
Working in DevOps mode with end-to-end responsibility on your code
Being part of a human-sized Scrum team
Guiding and helping fellow team members with your expertise
Specifying, engineering, and improving code based on functional requirements and business requests
Documenting, implementing and maintaining such a system
Our requirements
Excellent knowledge of Core Java (we are not using Spring, Hibernate)
Good knowledge of SQL, query optimization (we use stored procedure on MariaDB)
Experience in working with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
Proficiency with Linux
Good communication skills in English
Optional
Experience with micro-service architectures and Docker, ReactJS, Cloud Solution (AWS)
Knowledge of PHP, we are moving away from it, but there is still a bit of maintenance/migration to do
Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French
