Twój zakres obowiązków
JOB BRIEF:
As a java developer within the Amelco development team; you will be involved in producing exciting new features and functionality for high transactions within large scale online gaming web-sites which will then be utilised global-ly by renowned gaming establishments. Within your role; you will be highly organised and be a skilled individual regarding assigned projects and delivery both internally and externally. This will be a varied technical role covering all areas of the technical side of our business from design of the user interface to the application backend. With the support of well organised project teams, CTO, COO and development manager, you will be able to follow through projects all the way from the sprint meeting to project delivery while meeting the client SLAs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proposing and implementing technical solutions
• Developing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.
• Defining technical objectives by analysing user requirements
• Determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and soft-ware products; designing and conducting tests (using TDD)
• Integrating applications by designing database architecture and server scripting
• Designing and developing features and managing their implementation through the development life cycle
• Supporting customers (internal and external) by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Nasze wymagania
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• 3 - 5 years commercial Java experience
• Multi-threaded programming
• Spring framework
• Proficiency in Java debugging
• Expertise with learning new technologies
• Being ready to work on legacy and other client projects and move between teams when necessary
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proactively assess common code and look for ways to improve where necessary
• Take a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Participate in pre-sprint planning and resource estimation to provide visibility of time spent on pro-jects
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Spring framework, Java, Strong SQL, JSON, REST and TDD
• Significant commercial development experience
• Significant experience of engineering complex, OO, scalable Java applications
• Excellent understanding of software design principles and design patterns
• Experience with Lifecycle Management Tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Svn and Git
• Experience in developing complex, standards-based, full-stack, enterprise applications
TEAMWORK
• Deliver work in an agile team with shared ownership for the quality of the delivery
• Support junior members of the team in their development and problem solving
• Support the delivery of changes alongside the wider teams such as Test, DevOps, Architecture, Busi-ness Analysis and Application Support, including the possibility of occasional out-of-hours support of production deployments
• Ensure the team are aware of progress through Scrum sessions and updates to Jira
• Contribute to overall improvements in agile delivery through learning and feedback
• Share knowledge and implemented solutions with the wider team
• Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and re-viewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
