We are looking for a JavaScript Developer to join our Digital Competency Center. It is a department in which we implement solutions tailored to business needs. Projects are in the field of providing web applications to external clients, mainly foreign. We act in various business domains from insurance, through industry, iOT, energetics and e-commerce to finance services. Applications support both front-office as well as back-office area. We run projects in agile methodologies. Communication with clients is usually in English. You will join a team working on information portals for one of the biggest Danish newspapers.
Tasks:
- Setting/fixing ads positioning and scale (Twig, TypeScript, JS, SCSS)
- Creation of new components based on given mockups (Twig, PHP, TypeScript, JS, React, SCSS, Frontpage Widget, Scribble Ad)
- Data transfer, data exchange and proper display of data between components and databases (PHP, JS, React)
- Ad injection and setup in movies/clips/audio (JWPlayer API, JS)
- Injection of tracking scripts (Snowplow, GA, Linkpulse)
- Fixing inherited project "Nyhedsbreveprofil/Minedata" (TypeScript, Zendesk, MongoDB, React, JS)
- Operations on DataLayer Tracking (GA, Linkpulse, GTM)
- Writing tests to created solutions (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat, Jasmine, Karma)
- Providing proper functionality to ad "auctioning" (JS, prebid.js)
- Creating ad templates (interscroll, topscroll)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Front-end development (working in JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Knowledge of Typescript, REST API, SCSS
- Very good English skills, both verbal and written
- Agile approach
- Nice to know the back-end part of the project (PHP, NodeJS), dev tools and software testing tools
- Nice to know JS frameworks – React, Angular, Vue
- Experience with Google Ad Manager (both UI and API), Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager would be nice to have
- Some understanding of programmatic and experience with Header bidding setup via prebid.js would be considered an advantage
- It will be a plus if you know and understand how a Symfony site works and are able to commit changes into that
