Junior Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Ensures consistency and accuracy in month and year end close activities and reporting, as well as collaboration in the group consolidation

• Completes monthly P&L and balance sheet analytical review with commentary, trend analysis on revenue & close review with the FP&A team and other key stakeholders

• Presents monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation to the CFO

• Calculates and posts technically complex/once off journal entries & balance sheet reconciliations as required

• Prepares short term cash analysis

• Ensures adherence to B2X Accounting policies

• Supports implementation of internal controls, facilitates Compliance, including key & non key control report validation

• Completes statutory and taxation checklist to support filing of corporate and statutory returns

• Researches and prepares technical accounting position papers on local accounting issues (IFRS & Local German GAAP)

• Creates and maintains awareness with local business partners of local and statutory compliance reporting obligations. Highlights and works to ensure localization of accounting systems to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations

• Supports systems implementation projects by defining entity requirements, performing testing, and supporting launch

• Identifies key stakeholders & decision makers; learns how they receive information while engaging others using inquiry & active listening

• Provides various project and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions. Aid internal customers in compiling financial information; provide technical advice and analytical support

Exciting opportunity for an ambitious (junior) Accountant with strong technical expertise (German HGB & IFRS) to join the leading after sales service provider, B2X Care Solutions, at a defining stage of its future growth strategy.

The business is looking for vibrant, energetic candidates with experience of successfully delivering annual financial statements, balance sheet governance, audit compliance and tax management (direct & indirect) for a €60m turnover GmbH and its 10+ international subsidiaries.

Candidates who can demonstrate the ability to lead a business through a big 4 financial audit will be shown preference. Additionally, experience in Group consolidations, transfer pricing, inter-company agreements & cross boarder taxation exposure would also be an advantage.
