Your field of responsibility:
An outstanding opportunity to join us where you will manage and perform legal and operational due diligence assessment of alternative investment products (hedge funds, private equity etc.) for private banking clients worldwide in order to identify and avoid legal, operational, tax, credit and reputational risks for Credit Suisse. You will have an opportunity to assist in development, implementation and monitoring of additional due diligence standards to assess and mitigate the risks involved with alternative investments. You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of key legal and regulatory topics across a broad spectrum of issues impacting alternative investment vehicles as well as manage and support other legal related projects that arise due to regulatory change or business transformation.

You will become part of a forward-thinking asset management legal team consisting of three associates as well as will be closely working with our sister team in Zurich. You will also work with internal stakeholders bank-wide as well as external fund representatives. Your skills and experience:
- 1-2 years of proven experience in banking either in-house or in a law firm
- Law Degree, common law education would be an asset
- Understanding of laws and regulations applicable to alternative investment vehicles, as well as AIFMD, MiFID and UCITS
- Excellent drafting skills in English combined with outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be highly organised, efficient and hardworking with the proven ability to manage and drive projects and deliver against set timelines
- Proven background in international tax would be an asset
- Interest in legal and regulatory matters related to financial sector with particular emphasis on alternative investments
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
