Your responsibilities
Analysis of alerted payments for potential Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing risks following agreed guidelines and procedures;
Investigating customer transactions as part of the periodic and event driven customer transaction reviews, using a variety of tools including internal systems, proprietary and third-party databases;
Help develop and apply new data analysis techniques;
Working with multiple teams to build and submit progress reports;
Report to the Subject Matter Experts on risks and possible control improvements;
Observing industry trends and speaking up with potential opportunities to improve the Trans Monitoring framework;
Translating business requirements into functional processes and work instructions;
Review and contribute to compliance training materials for staff, as needed;
Be a contact person for employees regarding Trans Monitoring inquiries and discussions;
Other Trans Monitoring related duties as assigned.
Our requirements
12+ months investigator or analyst related to Transaction Monitoring Experience;
Ability to work under pressure with KPIs and deadlines;
High level of analytical skills and problem-solving skills;
Previous experience in the production of management information and reports;
Skilled with IT, in particular well-developed skills in Excel;
You are pro-active, results-oriented and have problem-solving abilities;
Fluent in English, speaking and writing;
Proven knowledge or interest in AML, Financial Crime Frameworks/procedures/processes (AML, Sanctions, PEPs, etc.), Compliance, Regulatory matters.
