    Description:

    Project Technology Services – Common Data Environments (PTS-CDE) is a functional group within the Global IT Team.  CDE are responsible for implementation, administration and support of CDE technologies used by Project Delivery teams to support their core business. Our team of technical specialists work on Projects and company initiatives to ensure Jacobs’ teams can work efficiently and deliver an exceptional service to our clients. We embody the Global resources / Local support concept by collectively leveraging our expertise to provide the following services:
    • Project implementation and configuration of commercial and internal CDE Technologies (predominantly ProjectWise, JPI, SharePoint and Bluebeam). 
    • Project facing user support & training. 
    • Promoting global application standards and work processes. 
    • Educate Operations and Business Development on new technology advancements. 
    Responsibilities:
    • Primary responsibility will be the support of JPI (Jacobs Project Information - a bespoke IBM (Domino based) document management and collaboration tool), but with some responsibility for other CDE Technologies (such as SharePoint, ProjectWise & Bluebeam).
    • Provision of technical support relating to the integration of CAD technologies within Common Data Environments.
    • Work with other IT teams to provide Cross Functional support to Projects.
    • Support local Project Teams in Krakow and also provide remote support for other regional locations using a Global Service Desk.
    Requirements:
    • Experience working in an engineering and construction environment.
    • An interest in design technologies, collaboration & data management.
    • Knowledge of CAD or 3D design tools a benefit but not essential.  
    • Experience with Bentley or Autodesk products considered a plus.
    • Experience with ITIL or Service Desk software beneficial.
