Your responsibilities

  • Assess customer credit worthiness by analyzing financial data, market/country conditions and customer reputation

  • Manage daily administration of assigned portfolio (account data accuracy, payment terms, maintenance of credit records and audit reports)

  • Assess customers on credit hold and provide recovery strategy if needed

  • Daily manage of credit insurance contract and ensure related controls

  • Research and resolve discrepancies regarding customer accounts receivable

  • Overview collection activities and help resolve disputed items

  • Support in insurance claims, bad debt reserve and write-off processes

  • Provide value by working very closely and ethically with internal and external customers

  • Prepare accurate accounts receivable performance reports

  • Interact with portfolio other Credit Analysts and Accounts Receivable team members

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • Experience in Finance, Accounting or related area

  • Understanding of consolidation accounting, financial reporting

  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis, commercial lending / banking or credit insurance would be beneficial

  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills

  • Eagerness and ability to learn fast

  • Proactive, highly motivated and action oriented team player

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrating decision making skills

  • Good communication and negotiation skills

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Working knowledge of SAP will be an additional asset

  • Fluency in English

  • Knowledge of French or other European languages will be a plus
