About the project
We are looking for Database Engineers who would join the team of experienced specialists working for years on various database projects and services provided to Lufthansa and many other airlines. Our database team grows due to many new opportunities we see on the horizon and would like to seize them. Due to the fact that many on-premise solutions need to be migrated to the cloud, we perceive the new duties of our engineers as very interesting and giving a possibility of personal development in the area of cloud solutions for databases and data warehouses like Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory. Your responsibilities
Work as part of an international, geographically distributed agile DevOps Team that implements and operates data products in Microsoft Azure. This project requires work at the office in Gdańsk 2-3 days per week.
Our requirements
Experience in acting as Database Administrator,
Experience in managing MS SQL Server, Oracle or Actian Ingres databases,
Practical knowledge of SQL,
Basic knowledge of shell scripting,
Good level of communication in English and Polish,
Readiness to learn.
Optional
It would be additional value, if you had:
Experience with cloud database services, e.g. Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Synapse,
Experience in SQL tuning,
Working in ITIL oriented environment,
Knowledge of automated deployment, e.g. Ansible.
