Operating system

Your responsibilities

  • Working on the design, specification, implementation of the new software features through development process,

  • Bug fixing and testing (on development level),

  • Refactoring and improvement of the existing solution,

  • Ensuring a high level of quality job delivered on time, within the client agreement and expectation,

  • Being responsible for the daily maintenance of client environment,

  • Handling planned changes, updates etc.,

  • Closely cooperating with other team members on tasks.

Our requirements

  • Some knowledge about containers (Docker, Cri-O etc.),

  • Knowledge of container orchestration (OpenShift, Kubernetes),

  • Experience in Linux OS,

  • Good knowledge about virtualization, network and protocols,

  • Good knowledge and hands on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, GIT, Data Storage,

  • Other technical, IT skills and programming languages will be also taken into consideration (if you are passionate about other technology - we may be just searching for you),

  • The ability of logical and sometimes abstraction thinking (not a strict technical skill but is most certainly required at this role)

  • Good English language skills both verbal and written (>B1)

Optional

  • Networking knowledge,

  • Knowledge about Network Storage (NAS / SAN),

  • Knowledge about Virtualization technologies,

  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies,

  • Knowledge or practical skills in the field of WebMethods, Enterprise Service Bus, Integration,

  • Some experience in multi-national companies,

  • Understanding IT in a big and broad picture
