Your responsibilities
An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role where the primary responsibilities for junior expense clerk is processing of expense claims and answering of expense claim queries.
The role requires outstanding communication skills as it will involve interaction with all levels of staff alongside strong attention to detail to ensure expense claims are completed in a correct and timely manner.
Expense claim processing
* Processing of expense claims via the in-house system
* Ensuring expenses are processed in accordance with the global expense policy
* Manage allocation of expenses to the correct client code
* Advising on expense policy and procedure
* Following up on any queries to do with the expense claim
* Interaction with secretarial staff to Managing Director levels

The CAO team (Chief Administrative Office) for EMEA IBCM (Investment Banking Capital Markets) support the heads of IBCM Europe and the COO of IBCM Europe with the day-to-day running of the Division. The Expense Clerks form part of the CAO team. In the line of their work, banking staff create a large number of expenses. It is the role of the Junior Expense Clerk to ensure that these expenses are refunded to the bankers, in a timely manner and in accordance to policy. Our requirements
Higher level of education
Outstanding written and verbal English and numerical skills
One year proven experience in relevant field of: customer service, accounting or financial operations
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Ability to follow instructions and workflow procedures
Willingness to work as a team, to share knowledge and strive for continual improvement in addition to sharing workload during peak times
Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to manage work under pressure
