Your responsibilities
Support fiber warehouse operations in day to day production support
Drive process improvement and support system integration between MES, Warehouse & SAP
Analyze complex business requirements/problems and provide technical solutions for fiber warehouse and shipment process
Coordinate and liaise with business, third party software vendors, IT and Commercial/supply chain teams
Design, code, and test systems, including but not limited to client applications (windows or web based) & Windows Service applications
Work closely with all levels of business, with varying levels of technical knowledge, to gather accurate and actionable business and technical requirements
Manage incidents for warehouse to track and determine root cause, short term solution, long term solution and take or assign ownership of incidents, driving improvement and efficiency in Warehouse and shipping process
Assist team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operation
Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems, AGV and user interfaces
Provide training for engineers and/or production associates as needed for new processes, equipment, or control systems
Serve on weekend IT production support team approximately every 4-5 weeks
Our requirements
Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
2 years of combined experience in IT
Experience in managing and maintaining Production IT systems
Knowledge of VB.NET, ASP.NET, MSMQ, XML
Experience and knowledge of relational databases (Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server)
Relationship management experience with business customers and IT partners (or Vendors)
Willing to be on off hours call on a rotational basis
Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or SAP or AGV
Able to communicate with engineers, production associates, and managers
