Junior IT Global Service Desk Specialist with German
Location: Gdańsk

An attractive work place in the Global Business Services (GBS) hub of Swarovski, based in Gdansk, Poland. The GBS organization delivers high quality multi-functional services, provides expertise and ensures a continuous improvement of the process portfolio. We are searching for Junior IT Global Service Desk Specialist, who takes ownership of issues, service requests and demonstrates strong problem solving having the positive client experience as focus.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In this position, your main duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing highly skilled user support  for client hardware, Windows operating system and Office environment to complete workflow tasks, incidents and request in a cost-efficient manner
  • Striving for a high 1st level support solution rate to gain high level of user satisfaction
  • Informing pro-actively IT users about the status of their request and if necessary coordinating with other teams involved according to the urgency of the request
  • Capturing and updating requests in the corresponding ticketing system (change order, incident or requests)
  • Documenting problem solutions and continuous maintainaning of internal knowledge database

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Customer service and solution delivery orientation
  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Willingness to develop within IT sector
  • Fluency in English & German
  • Basic IT knowledge and first working experience (Office365, SAP, User & Password Management, Client Hardware, Network, Desktop Application, iOS, Web Browser and Operating System) would be an asset
