Lead global lease audit projects under limited supervision
Performing independently lease audits (receive Landlord operating expense invoices, compare against lease documents, accounting reports, books and statements).
Serve as first point of contact for lease auditors in all audit related matters/escalations
Prepare descriptive audit reports
Present audit findings to clients
Works with client’s accounting & RE. personnel to obtain necessary documentation for audit including prior annual invoices and finance reporting
Escalate difficult claims to Audit Manager, for further direction
Assists with the implementation and development of new audit programs as time allows.
Uses good interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on persuasiveness and negotiations to collect data/claims.
Works on multiple audit claims simultaneously, prioritize, follow-up and bring projects to conclusion.
2–3 years of experience in audit, costs analysis, internal compliance or contract review is a must
Be able to analyze and interpret complex Lease terms
Extreme attention to details and ability to independently conclude within reasonable time frame
Fluent English and at least 1 other major Western European language: Italian, French, German, Swedish, Dutch. Fluency in writing, in speaking must be only able to communicate clearly
Real Estate/Property Management experience is a plus, but not obligatory
Must have strong persuasive skills as well as the ability to negotiate with Landlords, closing out claims in a timely manner.
Proactive and passionate about quality, honesty, and work with a determination to succeed.
Questioning mind with ability to think clearly and precisely
Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
