About the project

Junior Production Support Engineer will work in a small team of 2 max 3 people in our KRK office closely collaborating with wider development team which is also in KRK working on supporting driving forward the agenda of our Germany business. Role holder will be accountable for successful support of existing products in production and as well support of delivery of the project and future enhancements by providing good amount of release management support and other activities to support business needs. Daily close collaboration with Germany partners and our wider team in Germany, thus language knowledge is mandatory.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for production support activities on several IBM products Level 1/2 production support activities and business analysis, specification, design, delivery and support of multiple IT projects.

  • Close collaboration with peers on incidents and other subject

  • Responsibilities include the cooperation with business representative, requirements analysis, system design, preparing technical documentation, system implementation and production support.

  • Complete projects and assigned tasks in a timely manner and within agreed quality.

  • Testing of system changes/deployments and confirm production readiness

  • Responsible for change and release management in Agile environment

Our requirements

  • University or Technical College graduate (preferable in IT)

  • Good understanding of English and German is essential

  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence

  • Ability to absorb new technologies, procedures and learn quickly.

  • Willingness and ability to work in shifts

  • Positive “can do” attitude

Optional

  • Advantage will be experience with IBM FileNet/BPM, Workplace & Workplace XT, Content Navigator, Content Collector and Enterprise Records

  • Basic knowledge of any other programming language Java, JavaScript and SQL is a plus

  • Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage but not a must.

  • Advantage will be experience with Agile, Oracle Database, Linux or Windows server administration, IBM WebSphere.
