Your responsibilities
In this role, you will manage clients’ budgets and ensure the accurate cost allocations in our financial system.
You will monitor the time spent on the projects as well as other project-related costs (travel, accommodation, etc.).
You will verify whether those expenses stay in line with the clients' agreements and firm guidelines. If needed, you will address inconsistencies to the partners and senior partners and propose solutions.
You will build long-term relationships with many stakeholders and act as an expert helping consultants think strategically through their budget plans and partner with them on long-term client programs.
You will be based in our McKinsey Poznan office as part of our global Client Finance team.
You will act as a finance point of contact for various stakeholders - partners and senior partners, finance managers and directors - and collaborate with colleagues from the local Poznan and other European and non-European offices.
It is a non-consulting role.
Our requirements
University degree
No background in or experience in finance is required
Solid working knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel)
Willingness to learn new things and gain excellence in your duties
Affinity for problem-solving
Good time management skills
Ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships
Very good communication skills
Strong verbal and written command of English (C1) is required
