Junior Purchases Manager
This full-time role is part of the Logistics Purchases Organization, that is responsible for our Warehousing, Customization, and Pallets spend across the European region. The successful candidate will have the chance to influence directly & indirectly a significant spend (Millions of dollars) within Europe, and will have direct responsibility for specific markets within the region. The work will require strong partnerships across multi-functional teams including Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Purchases, and will give the candidate exposure opportunities to the European Product Supply Leadership.
The successful candidate will be leading major interventions at times the space is undergoing significant transformations and disruptions. The successful candidate will have the chance to work and be part of a winning team that is redesigning the supply network to ensure we consistently transform our supply chain as a strong and unique competitive advantage.The candidate will also work on innovative business models such as Multi-User Warehousing, Collaborative Distribution Networks, Automation, and Work process improvements.

Employees in our Purchasing department are responsible for sourcing the Company's multi-billion dollar requirements for goods and services needed to produce world-class consumer products.
You will be working with a team, typically responsible for Logistics Purchases across the region. Areas of responsibility can range from sourcing Warehousing, Customization, to Pallets and handling platforms. With the support of your manager, daily training and coaching, you will manage your desk and become the commercial expert, recognizing and developing opportunities as you link P&G strategies and business needs to our base of suppliers outside the Company. You will participate in market analysis, uncovering of business-building and cost-saving opportunities, development and implementation of innovative sourcing strategies, solving of supply problems, conducting of supplier inquiries and negotiations.
