Description

The Credit Risk Reporting and Analytics department, is looking for suitable candidates to join the growing Reporting Solutions team in Poland.  The role of the Reporting Solutions analyst will be focused on development and delivery of credit risk reports for the Investment Bank division.


 
Specific workstreams this role will be involved in will include:

  • Maintenance and production support of credit risk reporting tools based on existing EUC solutions
  • Migration of EUC reports and development of new reports in Business Objects
  • Supporting the change control process and executing control standards supporting Reporting tools
  • Contributing to the team’s delivery of reporting development and change projects
  • Delivering production user support for credit risk reporting teams globally

 

Accordingly, this role is particularly suitable for professionals with a business and/or data analysis skills able to take ownership of report development tasks contributing to the team’s delivery of timely and accurate results. Understanding of management reporting processes relating to the Bank's global trading activities, product or market risk is an advantage.  The role requires ensuring reports developed are suitable for distribution to credit risk analysis teams within and outside of CRR.
 
The main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding the reporting business process as well as data structure and data tables of various risk reporting databases
  • Understanding the data flows between the relevant risk reporting systems
  • Developing and modifying reports using Business Objects, in accordance with the relevant change control standards
  • Writing SQL queries in Oracle/ Sybase/ Microsoft Access to perform ad-hoc data analyses and tests
  • Providing production support to business users of Business Objects and other reporting tools    

Description

Qualifications

  • Analytical approach to problem solving and attention to detail
  • Understanding of risk and/or finance reporting concepts and standards
  • Proficient in use of MS Excel to analyze and report on large amounts of data
  • Knowledge of MS Access and/or other database querying will be a plus
  • Familiarity with credit risk exposure calculation methodologies & reporting is a plus,
  • Fluency in English,
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 1 – 2 years experience in Risk Reporting, Product Control, Audit or other control function in financial institutions would be an advantage
