Junior Research Analyst - Marketing & Sales

Who you will work with:

You’ll work in our Wroclaw office as part of McKinsey's Marketing & Sales Practice.


The Marketing & Sales Practice strives to help client in both consumer and business-to-business environments on a wide variety of marketing and sales topics. The mission of this practice is to help clients achieve marketing-driven profit growth. Our clients benefit from our experience in core areas of marketing such as branding, customer insights, marketing ROI, digital marketing, CLM pricing, and sales and channel management.

What you will do: 

Together with colleagues from around the world, you will work with consultants to conduct end to end research in response to specific questions.


As a Junior Research Analyst you will assist our consulting teams in sourcing, analyzing and synthesizing information to address specific business issues. As you increase your experience in the firm, you will be encouraged to develop into a true thought partner and build expertise around specific sectors or functions. 


Over time, you will also contribute to the further development of the Research Team by coaching less experienced colleagues, helping to design and deliver training programs, and finding new ways to create innovative services and enhance overall team spirit.

Qualifications:     

  • Master’s degree
  • Hands-on computer experience (Microsoft office applications, spreadsheets, databases, etc.)
  • Affinity for research, strong interest and proven ability in collection, analysis, synthesis and development of information and knowledge 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Understanding of key marketing, business, economic and financial concepts and terminology  
  • Service-oriented personality
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Fluency in English; additional European language is a plus
