About the project
Responsible for the firmware and software development for battery systems with BMS. Providing technical support to other company departments. Prepare test plans in order to verify and ensure that the product (Battery Management System) meets safety functions, design specification and clients requirements. Working in close cooperation with the Engineering Managers, carry out firmware and software developments tasks with a team cooperation. Ensuring accuracy of output, to create and develop practical, feasible & economical product concepts to meet customer objectives, whilst working closely with the global BMS team to ensure a coordinated and coherent product strategy.
Your responsibilities
Support Firmware and software development for BMS (Battery Management System)
Support test and validation activities for new software (Prepare test plans in order to verify and ensure that the product (Battery Management System) meets safety functions, design specification and clients requirements.)
Write test specification
Developing, documenting and executing test cases for scenario-based testing in lab environment
Developing automatic test environment and automatic tests
Executing tests, creating test reports and reporting bug
Participate in new / novel products and technology evaluations
Perform other related duties as required by the senior management team
Support activities during new product launch
Support test and development activities, including the creation of Design Failure Mode Analyses, Design Validation Plans & Reporting, and specification of, and supervision during product validation testing
Submit structured periodical Project Reports to the Team Leader
Our requirements
MSc or Bachelor degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related
Experience in test and validation activities for new software
Knowledge of software programming in C/C++
Basic knowledge of communication protocol: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN
Basic skills of code debugging and analysis
Appropriate command of Polish & English, German an advantage
Self-starter; well organized and able to work to challenging deadlines
Creative, with a keen understanding of the customer product base and typical design approaches; willing and able to learn and have a creative approach to problem solving
Objective and analytical approach to problem solving
Be inclusive and be able to work across sites and have an appreciation of cultural differences for cross-border working
Basic knowledge of scripting languages or LabVIEW environment knowledge
Basic knowledge of electronics (HW) and electronic measurement
Knowledge of Li-ion batteries
