As a (Junior) Packaging Quality Specialist you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the packaging quality assurance and supporting new product introduction on EMEA markets. You will manage quality improvement projects for packaging optimization and cost saving in multi-cultural and multi-functional environment.
Auditing, following and challenging European Co-packersFollow quality complaints and preventive / corrective action plans. Follow results and recurrence of defects. Challenge co-packer to avoid recurrence of defects.
Audit the finished goods quality on lines / in Warehouse
Complaint handling and coordinationManage / coordinate all the packaging and products quality complaints
Manage / coordinate the actions for problem solving
Specifications and standards managementManage the packaging material specifications and the packaging waste submissions
Support in subjects of environmental and health and safety standards and legislation
Quality reference documentation ownerDevelop & maintain the quality reference documentation
Ensure communication / promotion & training for relevant teams and providers
New or modified package development and qualificationInteract with the Packaging Development team to help introduce and manage administration of new products introduction (organize and follow tests on line, homologation new packaging component &/or new supplier, transit test, first productions … )
ReportingUpdate monthly KPIs and communicate to co-packers
Update monthly Quality Dashboard
Supporting packaging projects and leading quality and cost improvement projects, process optimization projects
Experience in quality assurance and management (min 1 year)
Knowledge of quality tools and standards
Master in Science graduated with packaging/printing/material background preferred and/or quality management
Experience in packaging development, packaging and printing technology knowledge, project management will be additional value
Good skills in MS Office (especially Excel) – SAP will be an advantage
Fluent in English

Internal stakeholders: Supply planning, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Quality, plant’s engineers

Travel Requirements: 20%
Physical requirements: 80%
Exposure to health risks or conditions that may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment in plant environments.
