About the project
You will be responsible for the operation of hosted EngageOne software offerings which provide mission-critical solutions to our global customers. As our customer base is growing, we are looking for additional team members to help us scale. The ideal candidates will have in-depth experience of a broad range of hosting technologies and processes, together with excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
Remote working is offered although you must be able to attend Bielsko - Biala when required.
Monitoring – Implementation of monitors as well as responding to incidents through to resolution.
New customer onboarding – work in a cross functional team to onboard new customers onto the solution.
Modifications to existing customer configurations – script modifications as additional functionality is activated in accordance with change control processes.
Technical Assistance – Triage and resolution of customer reported issues.
Providing continuous feedback to the wider engineering organization on elements which could improve the overall service.
Able to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Creating, executing and documenting test plans.
Performing System administration & maintenance.
Liaising with 3rd party suppliers when needed.
Participate in the 24x7 call-out & standby Rota.
Interface with external teams through effective communication
Experience of AWS technologies (for example: VPC, IAM, EFS, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, WAF, SES, SNS, SQS)
Working knowledge of best practices when using Gitlab / Gitlab Pipelines
Experience of creating Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
Experience of programming languages (for example Python)
Knowledge of managing Linux environments
Experience of Packer and Ansible for AMI provisioning
.Demonstrable experience of learning new technologies both internally developed and 3rd party.
Experience of being “on-call” and working 24x7 rotas.
Experience of common internet applications and services (email, web, html, SFTP).
Experience of providing 1st and 2nd line telephone support and/or direct support, preferably within a similar role.
Experience in maintaining Internet based applications from a Security perspective would be an advantage.
Proven ability to think and work at the system’s level.
