About the project

We are looking for Junior Systems Integration Engineer to join our Global Software Development Centre in Katowice. Global Centre in Katowice is one of Diebold Nixdorf's six strategic centres worldwide, where retail software is born.

As a Junior Systems Integration Engineer you will implement systems solutions addressing client and/or product/application technical requirements. You will engage with technical and cross-functional teams to integrate disparate hardware, software and software components, processes and methodologies. You will participate with the client in the strategic design process and translates business needs into technical systems solutions.

With us you will have an opportunity to work as a team member on engagements and will learn how to lead small technical projects with well-defined parameters.

Location: In this role you will have to be in the office in Katowice or Krakow - circa once a week.

Your responsibilities

Providing technical support for moderately complex systems.
Installing solutions within the customer of internal LAB
Using technical expertise, implement industry best practices and methodologies to tie dissimilar components together into an aggregate system.
Mentioning technical solution documentation in a web based tool
Establishing parameters for configuration, testing and debugging.

Our requirements

Any relevant experience in similar role (system deployment)
Knowledge of typical IT infrastructures;
Knowledge of the procedures and devices for LAN and WAN communications;
Possess knowledge of the TCP / IP protocol (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol)
Knowledge on how to configure client-server architectures (in which client computers require services provided by the server computer);
Knowledge about the automation development scripting in any scripting language (Wisescript, VBScript, Powershell, etc)
Knowledge on how to install components
