Your responsibilities
Produce simple indirect tax returns depending on assigned region (VAT for EU registrations, Sales & used Taxes for North America registrations)
End-to-End process execution (quality review, report submission, payment, reconciliation)
Produce and submit simple EC Sales Lists / Intrastate / Country specific reports on a periodic basis for Europe
Preparation, completion and filing of property tax returns for selected North America entities
Assist in preparation of Indirect tax trainings for GBS accountancy teams
Participate in departmental and cross-departmental projects and initiatives
Assist in the preparation of internal & external audit requests and respond to queries
Assist in the selected monthly closing activities in line with corporate deadlines
Our requirements
University degree in Finance or equivalent is required
Previous experience in tax position is an advantage
Knowledge of EU, NAM tax rules and accounting principles is nice to have
Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
Good MS Excel knowledge
Ability to think analytically
Self-discipline and ability to work with tight timeframes, meet legal/mandatory tax reporting deadlines and service level expectations
High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
Time management skills and ability to organize the responsibilities
