Your responsibilities
To administrate and maintain MS Windows Servers and VMware VSphere including tasks such as:
Active Directory administration
Handling server performance and security issues as reactive and proactive work
Handling infrastructure issues (like replication issues, DFS, DHCP and DNS configurations, server recovery)
File server, Print server
Installations / Patching / Upgrading of MS Windows Servers and Vmware products
Automation and environment improvements
Incident, Service Request and Change Management activities – internal and external communication handled in English
To develop an understanding of the Customer’s environment and service requirements to enable successful delivery of the service
To create technical documents for Windows/VMware environment
To escalate issues as necessary to deliver required service level
On-Call support (if needed in the team)
Our requirements
Basic knowledge of Windows server systems (including Active Directory), all their roles and features (Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2019)
Powershell scripting
Basic Understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN, TCP/IP, UDP
Good ITIL knowledge
Self-motivated, team player with great communication skills and business understanding
B2 level (or higher) of spoken and written English including technical vocabulary
Knowledge of German would be an asset
VMware knowledge would be an asset
vSphere 6.5 or above – must have
Site Recovery Manager – significant asset
VMConAWS – significant asset
VMware NSX – significant asset
vRealize Operations - asset
vSAN - asset
