Your responsibilities
Develops close working relationships with assigned global accounts, including departments of design, sourcing, purchasing and quality assurance. This will consist of -not being limited to- sample distribution coordination, sourcing, sales, communication between liaison offices and information sharing.
Consistently and frequently visits all assigned accounts, following appropriate scheduling based on importance and contingent needs.
Acquires and maintains detailed supply chain information on all assigned accounts.
Executes market research, analysis, and acquisition of new global accounts, which may be based inside or outside of EMEA.
Executes market research, analysis of fashion and product trends throughout the industry.
Establishes sales targets for assigned global accounts, with guidance from direct supervisor.
Monitor’s sales and marketing strategies for assigned global accounts, with regular and timely reports to direct supervisor.
Timely reports to upper management through global marketing reporting system.
Provides sales and customer support to other account managers, including YKK operating companies. Performs other duties, as assigned by upper management and even if herewith not listed, coherent with the role and as required for a proper execution of assigned tasks.
Our requirements
Fluent in both Polish and English
Very open mined individual who can do new things and is able to follow given instructions
Capable of working with different cultures and has a global mind set
At least a degree from a four-year college
Experience in account management/ sales or comparable
Work experience in the textile or fashion industry would be beneficial
Microsoft Office user level skills
Basic knowledge of marketing tools
Easy interaction with people
Ability to multi-task
Target orientation
Negotiation skills, effective verbal skills
Available for frequent business trips within Poland and occasionally abroad

The role in subject has the main scope to start contacts with, maintain positive relations with and persuade decision makers -inside the assigned area- to nominate or at least indicate YKK Companies as suppliers of all fastening products to the manufacturers or importers of their products.
In doing this the role executes global marketing activities and strategies, as established by Upper Management.
Its responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintenance of assigned global accounts, acquisition, and maintenance of new clients, keeping good customer relationships, and following up with customer needs, achievement of assigned targets. Further than that its responsibility extends to the respect of the law and of company’s and YKK Group’s rules, the correct, precise, and punctual execution of directives received by the direct supervisor and upper managers, to the adoption of appropriate and reasonable level of initiative.
