Job Description

Key Account Manager will be expected to

  • Successfully lead and drive the sales and business relationship for the assigned Accounts to further develop Motorola Solutions (MSI) business in Poland
  • Achieve Orders and Revenue targets through effective account management and new business growth
  • Produce and execute business plans for growth centered around MSI’s core offerings of  Infrastructure, Software, Devices and Services
  • Act as an ambassador for MSI with key Customers
  • Develop, maintain and execute an effective Business Plan that results in:
    • Growth in orders backlog
    • New business development
    • Maximized coverage of key business relationships
    • Developing customer account plans and provide sales funnel
    • Accurately forecasting orders and sales including 6 quarter rolling forecast
    • Identifying customer business drivers, plans and strategic goals and aligning them to our full portfolio for closing opportunities for Motorola Solutions.
    • Identifying customer and market needs
    • Monitoring products, solutions and strategies of competitors
  • Establish, maintain and develop senior business relationships within key Customers on following markets: Utilities - Energy, Oil & Gas
  • Coordination of marketing plans and activities for the territory with the regional marketing management
  • Develop strategic alliances with other third party organizations and companies in order to allow MSI to serve the customers with complex solutions
  • Coordination of Key Account business activities in close cooperation with the regional Channel Account Manager, Key Account Managers, Service Support Managers and Pre-Sales Team

Basic Requirements

Business knowledge

  • At least 7 years of experience within IT/radio/technology/investment goods industry in Poland, of which at least 5 years in a direct sales position
  • Proven solid track record of successful selling on following markets: Public Safety, or Military, or Utilities
  • Strong general understanding of Public Procurement Law and its relevance and application to business operations and processes
  • Experience in video industry will be a plus

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (in Polish and English) including strong presentation abilities to transmit with impact
  • Strong high-touch customer capability: ability to initiate and build solid working relationships with diverse customer decision makers and influencers
  • Readiness to complete the Personal Security Clearance Certification, or valid Certificate (Poświadczenie Bezpieczeństwa Osobowego)
  • Hard-worker, energetic, committed and loyal
  • Will  go the extra mile with the customers and also with wider sales team needs
  • Goal oriented person and results driven, overachiever, effective time-management
  • Will observe all relevant business policies and practices
