Your responsibilities
Manage client and partner expectations and understanding in a consultative way
Exhibit ownership of KYC/AML experience and client experience
Ensure KYC/AML deliverables are met and hold internal partners accountable
Demonstrate ongoing understanding of KYC/AML processes and work through delays and/or inefficiencies
Manage operational risk effectively through diligent awareness of risks in our processes
Escalate appropriate risk items and drive issues to closure
Manage client risk effectively by supporting the banker in client selection process
Independently manage renewal cycle with relationship management partnership
Accountable for timely portfolio management while maintaining quality expectations
Our requirements
Ability to properly identify AML risks and demonstrates a solid grasp of AML/KYC policy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
BA/BS degree
Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Onboarding, AML/KYC, Risk Management, Relationship Management
Experience in financial services, Corporate/Commercial Banking
Working knowledge of risk factors that may impact specific products and industries
Ability to multi-task effectively and leverage internal resources
Excellent attention to detail
Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage
Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
Previous credit training or underwriting experience
Ability to navigate complex client relationships and product usage

Job Description
The KYC Organization is seeking a KYC Relationship Officer (KRO), reporting to the in-region KYC Manager, who will partner with Bankers and other stakeholders to ensure all client KYC records are compliant with regulatory standards, and will ensure high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements at inception and renewal of client relationships. The KRO will work closely with the Front Office and with clients directly as required to help obtain necessary information to fulfil KYC due diligence.
The KRO Team is:
Leading the way in most onboarding efforts (with the exception TS), first point of contact in all KYC matters, renewals and direct client contact. We partner together on all matters related to:
- pipeline
- new business generation and
- deal structuring as well as KYC/ AML awareness in the team.
We are on the front-line facing clients and internal partners every day- leading KYC efforts with Bankers, GFCC, Treasury, Credit, Compliance, QC, IOS, with strong focus on a robust AML/ KYC program in EMEA.
