About the project

As a RS LAN Support Specialist you will provide LAN and personal computer support to IP facilities throughout the region. Under general to little direct supervision, provides second tier support to end-users for workstations, servers or mainframe applications and hardware, RF equipment, printers, and other network attached devices. Trouble shoots LAN problems, assists in configuring and troubleshooting data, voice, and video systems.

You will have the chance to work in a multinational environment with a variety of global range IT teams. It is also an opportunity to develop technical skills and procedural knowledge

of Regional Support group. This position could be interesting for experienced IT support specialists with strong commitment to deliver superior level of customer support and technical expertise.

Your responsibilities

  • Report and work with a regional manager or assigned team lead

  • Provide day-to-day management and break/fix support of workstations, servers, RF devices, printers, and other network attached devices and LAN for all assigned facilities.

  • Act as the liaison into Information Technology second and third level support groups

  • to assist in expediting the support process.

  • Perform assigned tasks for installation and configuration of devices as part of our refresh lifecycle management programs.

  • Perform assigned project tasks or set of actions for completion of project or process activity or activities within defined timelines (includes but not limited to installation, configuration, and/or moves of supported standard devices or implementation of a process).

  • Be under general to little direct supervision capable of handling any routine to highly technical problem with demonstrated adequate communication skills.

  • Manage vendor warranty and break/fix work. May assist in the desktop/server/LAN procurement process.

  • Maintain documentation for the facility, including inventory, ticket tracking, time tracking and assigned project work.

  • Be a Member of On-Call rotation and may require travel between supported sites and facilities.

Our requirements

  • Associate Degree in Information Systems or equivalent

  • 2+ years of related Information Systems experience

  • Fluency in Polish and English

  • MCP is preferred

  • PowerShell / Visual Basic experience is preferred

  • Ability to handle complex operational problems and assignments

  • Demonstrated competence to work with minimum supervision and effectively with all levels in corporation
