About the project
As Lead Architect IT Technology Office you will support the Director of Global Enterprise Architecture Management in the development as well as coordinate and maintain enterprise architecture methods and techniques, including standards and principles. You will also support in ensuring compliance with architecture roadmaps, principles, standards and reference architectures within MAHLE IT. In this position you will report directly to the Director of Global Enterprise Architecture Management.
Your responsibilities
As Lead Architect IT Technology, you are responsible for the technical leadership of a global team of technology and solution architects
You will actively shape the enterprise architecture and technology landscape of MAHLE IT and
support the Director of Global Enterprise Architecture Management in advising the IT Management Board and Senior Management on architecture issues
You will significantly support the development and drive the implementation of the architecture framework, architecture roadmap, and application and infrastructure architecture blueprints
You are responsible for providing technical support to the service units in the development of software and system architectures, guidelines and policies and for ensuring that the solution designs are in line with the IT roadmap and strategy
You translate the strategic requirements into economic and efficient architecture measures with the goal of harmonizing and standardizing the application and infrastructure landscape
You support the service units in keeping the business architecture and the ACTUAL application architecture of MAHLE IT up to date
Based on specifications from the Director of Global Enterprise Architecture Management and the IT Board, you develop the PLAN application architecture and check the mapping to the business architecture. In doing so, you will identify cross-cutting synergies and be a key driver of innovation
You look for creative approaches to integrate new, innovative applications and digital products into the architecture as needed
You observe market and technology trends, set impulses for the further development of our technology platform and translate these into concrete measures
In addition to architecture governance, you will work closely with the relevant colleagues to ensure that the technology landscape always complies with current security standards, audit requirements and regulatory requirements
Our requirements
University degree in (business) informatics or comparable qualification
At least 6 years of international work experience
Several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) taking into account proven best practices (e.g. TOGAF)
Experience in the technical leadership of team
Ideally industry knowledge from various companies in the automotive environment or IT services sector
Passion and communication skills to actively engage employees and lead structured discussions
Strategic thinking and the ability to translate strategies into tactical actions
Very good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
