Your responsibilities
Data exploration to provide insights needed for data-driven decision-making,
Knowledge-base management and mining to semantically organized information about thecontent,
Application of Computer Vision algorithms to visual content enrichment including image segmentation, object detection, style transfer, and classification,
Application of Natural Language Processing methods to organize, enrich and analyse content descriptions including text classification, summarization, sentiment detection, and ranking,
Application of machine learning and NLP algorithms to streamline the printing process by analysing and organizing the printing rules and text-tailoring to match printing standards.
Managing a team of AI engineers to develop new and maintain deployed AI models,
Communicate with core product developers and business to understand the business needs to provide suggestions for new AI solutions,
Understanding our edition process and suggesting new AI solutions to streamline them
Supervision of programming standards and adherence to good developmental practices (testing, documentation, integration)
Our requirements
EXPERIENCE: Senior/Lead, at least 3-4 years of professional experience, incl. at least 1- year managerial experience
SKILLS:
Practical experience with at least two of the following AI domains: data analysis, natural language processing, computer vision,
Ability to manage a team of machine learning engineers developing solutions tailored to business needs according to Agile principles
A deep understanding of statistical concepts and the ability to construct models of a real-life phenomenon
Data preparation, including exploratory analysis, data cleansing, and normalization
Knowledge of Machine Learning methods, including clusterization, dimensionality reduction, classification, regression
2-3 years of experience in deployment and maintenance of a deep learning models
Working experience with SQL
Familiarity with implementing OOP practices,
Organizational, interpersonal, and managerial skills
TECHNOLOGIES:
Proficiency in Python including sklearn, numpy, pandas, PyTorch (or tensorflow), matplotlib, seaborn
Familiarity with data analysis/ IDE tools such as Jupyter notebooks; pyCharm
An experience with cloud-computing environments, e.g., Azure (preferred) or AWS
Fluency in one of the database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL)
Ability to set up containerised environments (e.g., Docker, conda)
Good knowledge of git, bash, and Linux.
Optional
Experience with analysis of rule-based automation systems,
Interest in multi-language NLP models
Working use-cases of deployed ML/DL models
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Model deployment with MLFlow, KubeFlow, PyTorch Lightning

You will lead a team that aims at using artificial intelligence and data science to explore and

Finally, your team will employ natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning to streamline the work of our experienced editors and help produce content that matches established printing standards that our customers love and appreciate.
As a leader of the team, you will be responsible for managing a team of ML engineers that will develop and perform maintenance of artificial intelligence models that are crucial for our mission. You will be also responsible for the exploration of our data and in-house company processes to suggest ideas for new potential solutions and streamline the existing workload. You will work closely with our core product developers and business management to help in the transition of Media Press to an AI-driven company.
