Your responsibilities
Mechanical design and development of electrical power conversion systems and components
Coordination of all technical activities related to assigned parts
Supervision of manufacturing and testing for assigned parts, including cooperation with external suppliers
Ensure on schedule submission of planned deliverables to customers
Budget and time control needed to complete assigned tasks
Assure proper technical (CAD Models, 2D drawings, reports and manuals) and business documentation (sourcing and purchasing processes)
Monitor and communicate project status internally and externally for related activities
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical/ program reviews in person or remotely
Provide technical leadership & guidance to personnel supporting assigned product
Demonstrate proficiency with core technical tools, methods and concepts
May lead small group within individual discipline
Our requirements
Degree (BSc or MSc) in Mechanical Engineering or related
Demonstrated mechanical design position in industry, aviation related experience would be an advantage
Experience in CAD tools (SolidEdge preferred) and GD&T knowledge
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, knowledge of typical aerospace manufacturing techniques and standards would be an advantage
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide and influence others
Demonstrated team work and self-reliance in assigned tasks
Target oriented, responsible, open minded, problem solving attitude, “can do” approach
Demonstrated high written and verbal communication skills, proficient English (spoken & written)
Ability to work under time pressure and with budget/ resources constraints
Ability to travel abroad and work with global team members
