About the project

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join an international company that works in the renewable energy arena for over 14 years and delivers solar energy and clean water solutions worldwide.

• Industry: Energy

• Business trips: No

• Remote 100%

• Budget: b2b 25 000 - 30 000 PLN/net/month (with 26 days of paid holidays)

• Contract length: Indefinite

• Start date: ASAP/ depending on the candidate's availability

Your responsibilities

  • Developing high quality, highly available distributed software in a microservice architecture

  • Making technical decisions based on business needs and time restrains

  • Daily cooperation with the other Team Leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Master especially focusing on the preparation of descriptions of tasks and features

  • Organizing internal knowledge sharing sessions

  • Ensuring adequate level of system and software documentation

  • Introducing new technologies, ideas and processes based on company"s needs

  • Representing the team on the technical and product meetings

  • Taking care of the information flow inside the team

  • Mentoring engineers on your team to enable their growth as technical experts

  • Participating in the recruitment process for the engineering team, technical onboarding of the new colleagues

  • Mentoring junior software engineers

Our requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer

  • Programming experience in Go

  • Knowledge of microservice architecture, DDD, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, REST

  • Ability to plan ahead when designing solutions

  • Excellent self and teamwork organization; leadership skills

  • Polish: communicative

  • English: communicative
