Are you ready for a new job? Great! For our Client, a manufacturer of refrigeration solutions, which is creating a new plant in Legnica, we are looking for a candidate for Team Lead for PD Team

your tasks

  • advice the product development team to design, develop and prototype new products in accordance with company product development roadmap
  • advice the life cycle engineer team to evaluate, document, and implement product customizations and product and/or cost optimization to improve product performance,
    manufacturability and/ or customer requirements
  • assess reliability, safety, performance and risk of new designs & methodologies
  •  transfer designs to manufacturing through liaison with manufacturing engineerings
  • drive utilization for engineering tasks and appraise performance against plan in cooperation with head of Product Development
  • pull-in and drive application of latest materials, processes & agile methodologies
  • coordinate and communicate engineering schedules and compatibility or design issues throughout the team continuously
  • drive a strong collaboration with product management, strategic purchasing and production as well as other product development teams
  • lead a cross-functional team to specify design modules and establish a modularization process for product development accordingly
  • lead a team of engineers and IT specialist to implement CAD system Nx plus PDM database (Team center) in VRS in close cooperation with headquarter IT

what we expect

  • appropriate university degree with experience in product development, product life cycle engineering, product and/or cost optimization
  • good understanding of manufacturing processes and new product introduction
  • minimum 5 years product development management experience in an operational environment
  • familiar with cost optimization and qualification processes (PPAP, APQP)
  • demonstrated continuous improvement and change management capabilities
  • great team player but also an awesome coach.
