Your responsibilities

  • Facilitate, train and orchestrate process improvement methodologies / tools.

  • Develop and execute Lean strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives; in our 3 plants, from RFQ to deliveries.

  • Create a clear roadmap for Lean implementation and define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.

  • Drive Lean initiatives in all 3 countries across various departments and teams. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking.

  • Training and education: Conduct training programs to educate employees at all levels on Lean principles, methodologies, and tools. Ensure understanding and application of Lean concepts throughout the organization, including waste reduction, standardization, visual management, value stream mapping, and problem-solving techniques.

  • Process analysis and improvement: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, waste reduction, and increased efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen events, Kanban systems, and error-proofing techniques.

  • Performance measurement and reporting: Establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives. Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and trends. Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making and prioritize improvement projects.

  • Change management: Drive a culture of change and continuous improvement by effectively communicating the benefits of Lean principles and engaging employees at all levels. Overcome resistance to change, encourage employee participation, and foster a collaborative environment that supports Lean implementation.

  • Stakeholder management: Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, including senior management, department heads, and frontline employees, to gain support, alignment, and cooperation for Lean initiatives. Foster strong relationships and effective communication to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of Lean practices.

  • Continuous learning and development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in Lean methodologies and tools. Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance your own knowledge and skills and share relevant insights and learning within the organization.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in Lean implementation and process improvement within the manufacturing industry, preferably in crane manufacturing or heavy machinery.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, tools, and practices, such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, Kanban, and visual management.

  • Proven track record of leading successful Lean initiatives and achieving measurable results in terms of waste reduction, cost savings, and process efficiency.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex Lean concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Change management expertise, with experience in driving organizational change and overcoming resistance to Lean implementation.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
