Your responsibilities
Advising and communicating with the business on banking and financial services regulation
Participating in negotiations and drafting legal documentation
Supporting strategic initiatives and regulatory projects
Providing stakeholder support resolving everyday issues
Our requirements
A law degree, admission to one of the Polish Bar Associations (radca prawny or adwokat), combined with at least 3 years’ experience in the financial sector or in a law firm
Knowledge of banking and finance law and understanding of financial markets and products
Excellent command of both oral and written English
Strong communication skills and detail-oriented
Proactive attitude and willingness to keep learning
Excellent team player and looking forward to working in a multicultural environment
Result-oriented and self-driven and with focus on identifying and addressing legal risks
High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently and under pressure

We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to join the legal department in Warsaw within SEB Large Corporates & Financial Institutions division. LC&FI Legal provides high quality business enhancing legal services to all LC&FI business and staff units based on such units and customers various requirements and needs.
LC&FI Legal has 35 lawyers in Stockholm and further 25 lawyers in SEB’s international offices.
In the position you will be a member of the Polish legal team and work with legally complex and challenging questions and projects, including the implementation and follow-up on banking legislation and regulations.
