Your responsibilities
Providing expert legal advisory on following areas of law: Energy, Corporate, M&A, Finance and Construction/Infrastructure;
Providing counseling and advises management on legal issues, compliance and legal risk management;
Taking responsibility on a group level in legal area of the Solar PV Projects in CEE Region: Poland and other markets that we are willing to develop;
Conducting legal analysis, research and reviews on a variety of legal issues, national and international laws, and risk evaluation;
Monitoring and appraising legal performance and maintain a strong internal control environment;
Development of legal organizational strategies by contributing business orientated and entrepreneurial solutions;
Serving as a member of executive leadership team. Participate in assessment, deliberation and decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution.
Our requirements
Have 4+ years of experience in leadership roles in Legal area of industry leading businesses or relevant leadership experience in Corporate Legal Divisions of top tier international legal Companies;
Own a combined experience of in-house legal advisor and external corporate lawyer (is a great advantage);
Are able to demonstrate thorough expertise in the area of: Energy, Corporate, M&A, Financial, Construction Law;
Have analytical mindset with an ability to pro-actively anticipate areas of risk and initiate efforts to address them;
Are capable of acting as a project team leader on multi-disciplinary projects;
Must be able to partner with other departments to achieve company goals that cross multiple functions;
Must be able to navigate the political challenges that arise as multiple departments and different individuals with different skills and interests become engaged on a matter;
Have proven experience in representing the Legal function on country-wide or region-wide strategic initiatives and highly complex cross-geography business transactions;
Are able to lead or serve as a strategic member of key legally- oriented projects with high visibility to senior management across the Group;
Be fluent in English and Polish.

The perfect match for this role should come from International Law Companies or International Renewable Energy Companies and be well experienced in the following areas of law: Energy, Corporate, M&A, Finance, Construction/Infrastructure.
This individual operates with significant independence and minimal supervision as the principal representative and will meet regularly with the board. The General Counsel must work cooperatively with business unit representatives and all SIG/Group departments.
