Description

Working as a License Management System Analyst you will report to the Divisional (GCTO) License Manager. You will be responsible for a growing verity of tasks:

  • Maintaining the functionality of the GCTO SAM tool (Microsoft SharePoint-based).
  • Preparing reports for divisional management on all activities including compliance, audit/dispute status, and any other defined success measures.
  • Assisting with scheduled internal Software License audits and periodic certifications with the GCTO License Owners and Product Managers to ensure Software License compliance, and compliance with all Software License policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • You will also be participating in the bank-wide Software License user community.
  • Participating, as needed, in vendor audit and dispute process. Supporting the License Manager/License Owner(s) in collecting all license information and records needed for the audit/dispute. Participating in the post-audit process and executes any action items.
  • Maintaining strategic partnerships with peers in IT, SVM, the other divisional SLM teams to ensure consistency and compliance with bank-wide policies.

Qualifications

  • You hold a First degree in a Business, Commerce, or Technology subject.
  • You have a good understanding of Software Asset Management, IT Department organisation, and sourcing.
  • You possess general understanding of IT software systems and software procurement processes.
  • You have 3 years of SLM experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skill are mandatory.
  • You have experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Access and SQL. Software Asset Management tools knowledge would be seen as an asset.
  • Prior work experience in financial services organisation is not mandatory. However experience in a complex organisational environment would be an advantage.
  • You should possess strong analytical & organisational skills. Strong problem solving skills, high quality focus and the ability to deliver under time pressure.
  • You should be highly motivated and disciplined with a positive, service oriented attitude.
  • Great teammate. Able to demonstrate team success ethic, as opposed to self-promotion.
  • Self-starter, proactive, able to go “extra mile”. Able to think strategically. Inquisitive, and capable of ‘following through’ with new ideas.
  • Embraces change.
  • You have excellent written and oral skills. Accomplished communicator.
  • You are fluent in English. Fluency in German is an advantage.
  • Personable, and outgoing character.
