Your responsibilities

  • Define the marketing/sales strategies in the livestock segment, using business experience and expertise to add value to debate and decision making.
  • Contribute to a global Zoetis marketing strategy by providing trend analysis and information, which will assist in the production of a global marketing strategy.
  • Supervise and work with Marketing Manager, Technical Manager and Sales Team to develop and achieve revenue and profitability targets for Livestock Business Unit.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the livestock business.
  • Control all activities including external parties (Agencies: Advertising, Media, Marketing research, PR, 3rd party detailing).
  • In cooperation with the General Manager and Commercial Associate Director, contribute to the development of the Zoetis Operating Plan to support the implementation and realization of Zoetis strategic goals and priorities.
  • Manage the business unit's budget, contributing to annual budget setting process by submitting proposals detailing investment and business development opportunities.
  • Lead the sales forecast and review for livestock products monthly, based on sell in, sell out and stock analysis.
  • Collect and report the adverse reactions, liaising with current local PV procedure.
  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate direct reports.
  • Ensure that the quality of marketing/sales/technical services and expertise meet business needs.
  • Identify personal development needs of sales representative and generate/maximize individual and team contribution.
  • Develop constructive internal relationships with Business Leadership Team, global Marketing teams and internal suppliers. Ensure timely information and effective communication to all internal and external parties. Ensure the introduction and follow up into the salesforce.com system.

Our requirements

  • Completed University degree - preferably in the veterinary field
  • At least 3 years in leader position in the animal health or its related business
  • Strong understanding of the livestock market and animal health market in Poland
  • Strong selling, management skills, business acumen and strategic view
  • Successful track record in sales and business development
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in successful management of sales team
  • Fluency in Polish and English is a must
