This role is for a Quality Control Operations Lead, who will  look after the following:

Oversight of EMEA Loan Operations Quality Control Framework

  • Manage the inventory of high risk processes in scope for EMEA Quality Control
  • Lead weekly / monthly stakeholder updates to review results and areas requiring further attention
  • Lead engagement with Risk & Control and Testing teams as needed.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve first time right capability as well as to identify emerging risks and issues
  • Develop and implement timely action plans as needed
  • Ensure control and integrity of the quality control process through robust procedures, metrics, and training
  • Lead implementation of the quality control function into new processes / regions as needed

Workflow Management

  • Manage the daily workflow of ‘in process’ quality control requests for EMEA
  • Ensure timely review of all requests to maintain service levels
  • Ensure the integrity and documentation of all reviews to enhance quality
  • Follow-up on the timely remediation of errors identified
  • Manage the daily, weekly, monthly reporting metrics
  • Build partnerships with key functional owners to find solutions and encourage open dialogue and innovation
  • Explore opportunities to enhance the visibility of the quality function both within and outside of ISG
  • Partner with other quality related functions to identify and implement best practices
Requirements:

  • A proven track record with at least 6+ years of financial Operations experience
  • Experience and knowledge of end to end Institutional banking loan cycle and solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
  • Knowledge of lending platforms like Loan IQ, ACBS
  • Exposure in reviewing credit agreements
  • Payments / reconciliation cycle experience
  • Regulatory concepts and other key areas of risk within the operations and data environments
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • A business related degree would be advantageous, however less relevant than extensive ‘in situ’ experience
  • Ability to perform reviews or processes and identify issues/ gaps.
  • Ability to manage control practices demonstrating a risk-based approach
  • Proven success in leading a team
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to work with various levels of management and build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong influence/negotiation skills.
  • Ability to proficiently use MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
