The Loans Operations team within the Citi’s Institutional Services Group (ISG) organization includes functions like: Loan Origination, positioning, invoicing, corporate actions, processing of fees, interest and principal & rating changes.
Similarly, Credit Risk Management Services (CRMS) functions includes activities like: Loan documents, credit approvals, credit line set up,  intraday limit monitoring, regulatory reporting, pledging, etc.
Globally within Loans Ops/CRMS, we are looking to develop, expand, and formalize the existing Procedural and Change Management framework which includes areas like: development of procedures in lines with the policies and regulatory requirements, monitor and control upcoming procedural changes, work with Training & Communication team, work with different stakeholders on various projects, etc. The role will ensure that there is a centralized and standardized Global Procedures and Change Management Framework. A controlled framework to ensure any changes to the procedures go through impact assessment, establishing controls, undergoes review and approval process, which is scalable and auditable.

  • Independently own and work with business partners and stakeholders to capture procedures based on various loan processing function and their requirements, within targeted timelines.
  • Lead and run Change Management Framework which can enable appropriate controls on the existing and upcoming procedures.
  • Conduct impact assessment for upcoming procedure change requests, in terms of: Efforts, Volume, Business Line, Business Function, Risk Type, Loan type, etc.
  • Develop interim procedures for technical or system related dependencies.
  • Assist in Control functions pre and post implementation of new procedures, by ensuring the new changes have been effectively implemented at the ground level.
  • Identify and close gaps in procedures and existing training with continuous improvement over time.
  • Streamline, consolidate and standardise procedures where possible.
  • Drive procedure enhancement and simplification initiatives, which can gain process efficiency, improved quality, user friendliness.
  • Retire outdated procedures through Change Management Framework.
  • Assess Training and Communication requirement for upcoming procedure change requests.
  • Ensure all procedural updates are tracked via Change Management Framework and generate meaningful and user-friendly MIS.
  • Strong Communication and Leadership skills to drive projects with various stakeholders within stringent timelines.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team who can be agile and adapt procedural change.
  • Ensure that staff is equipped with the requisite skills and knowledge to perform to operational management standards.
  • This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.
  • 4-6 years’ Loan/CRMS Operations experience is a must, with detailed familiarity of global and local requirements.
  • 3-5 years’ procedural development and change management experience preferable.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive and being agile in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to absorb feedback and translate to solutions.
  • Disposition to identify solutions to the problems and doing so with high level of resiliency.
  • Excellent one-on-one and group presentation/facilitation skills.
  • Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Flexible with global working hours, on need basis.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Certifications like: Project Management (PMP, Prince 2, Agile) or Process Improvements (Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Management) preferred.
