Your responsibilities

Take a key role in our Indirect Procurement Team, supporting our growth agenda by leveraging supplier network in logistics, Warehouse, and Transportation.

You’ll contribute to the development and implementation of Warehouse & Transportation Procurement plans, delivering best-in-class results.

You’ll gain business-wide support to implement subcategory sourcing plans and delivering tangible results. Building effective relationships with Logistic Leadership and Logistic Teams, as well as country business units you’ll be driving continuous improvement plans across your subcategories.

You’ll be drive innovation programs, continuously searching for cost-saving opportunities, new technologies, new products, and new suppliers, along with measuring and benchmarking performance ensuring the most competitive cost base for Upfield.

Identifying and prioritizing opportunities to deliver total cost of ownership savings in your categories and driving the implementation of the plans to capture those opportunities is essential.

By establishing & plotting the strategic sourcing strategy for the EU logistics network, while building effective relationships with stakeholders across functions and country business units you’ll identify and prioritize opportunities to deliver total cost of ownership savings in your categories - driving the implementation of the plans to capture those opportunities is essential.

You’ll develop tender strategies and tender tool models, proactively managing supplier relationships to deliver cost & cash results along with Quality and service levels, and leveraging operational excellence by continuous improvement activities.

What’s your background?

After few years in procurement managing logistic subcategories, and gaining a solid track record in sourcing strategy and execution you have a good knowledge of Logistics Service Provider, Customer Solutions / Supply Chain engineering experience, Warehouse & Distribution footprint, and European Logistic setting.

Achieving goals gives you a rush, you have a strategic approach, and being analytical you know how to assess risk and be financially savvy.

With great stakeholder management skills, you enjoy being the brains behind the operations and understanding a wide range of business functions you’re capable of translating business needs into usable solutions.

You’re a self-starter with a proactive approach, and you never settle on quality while looking for solutions.

You are a proficient Excel user and you have knowledge of SAP Ariba. Fluent English is a must.
