About the project

We are looking for Logistics Manager for our newly emerging plant in Zabrze, first production establishment of Weber-Stephen in Europe.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, implementation and management of Logistics processes (inbound, WIP management, material and production planning) in green filed manufacturing site

  • Logistics performance management (safety, customer service, inventory, cost)

  • Effective cooperation with central demand management team for excellent customer service

  • Optimization of logistics processes thus cost on ongoing basis

  • SAP S/4HANA – support implementation and act as Logistics SME

  • Involvement and support of S&OP process – regional and global

  • Team and budget management

Our requirements

  • Min 8 years of Supply Chain operations experience (production, material planning; demand, inventory management)

  • Min 3 years of managing logistics department

  • Good command of English

  • Experience in system and data management / analysis – SAP and Excel

  • Practical knowledge of S&OP process and tool

  • Practical knowledge of inventory management techniques (ABC, MOQ, EOQ, MRP parametrization, safety stock vs reorder point)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Practical knowledge of Lean concepts and tools in respected field (Specifying Value, VSM, Product Flow, Customer Pull)

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • “Can do” attitude with “hands on” approach

  • Customer and team oriented - respected leader with good communication skills

  • Project management experience

  • APICS training / certification

  • Experience with green filed projects
