    Management Information Analyst
    Location: Kraków
    Ref No: GFC/MIA/05/2018
    The role is based in HSBC Global Finance Centre in Krakow, Poland. The centre is turning into a world-class Finance function to support the development of the businesses across the European region. The Centre covers all finance functions including Reporting (management and financial), Accounting, Financial Control and Systems. The HSBC Global Finance Centre focuses on system standardisation and process transformation to deliver the highest quality analysis and insight to all supported countries.
     
    We are looking for candidates willing to develop skills and knowledge in international finance environment, offering a great opportunity to build professional career in banking. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for delivery of Management Information reporting and analysis for numerous HSBC sites from various European countries.
     

    Main Duties:

    • Provide accurate and timely financial management information to senior management and HSBC Group including branch, product, cost analysis, customer level for lines of business (corporate, retail, global markets)
    • Prepare financial statements for CFOs
    • Developing strong working relationships with other finance teams and business area representative
    • Support in investigating and communicating significant variances/ movements on a timely basis
    • Complying with internal procedures and rules of control
    • Produce ad-hoc Management Information analysis as required

    Requirements:

    • Experience in Financial Accounting or Reporting will be an asset,
    • Good knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel, VBA will be a plus)
    • Excellent English both written and verbal
    • Knowledge of bank products and customer group segmentation will be a huge asset
    • Strong analytical ability, tenacity and sound commercial judgement
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
    • Demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels
