Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring the teams deliver in line with demand statements

  • Planning and prioritisation of day to day processing across teams

  • Establishing targets for a number of teams to meet overall goals in Production Quality and Financial Performance

  • Implementation of change programmes as directed by the Functional Manager

  • Maintaining Operating Procedures in accordance with the Business Service's Operating Model and local requirements

  • Manage and plan work schedules of team members to ensure optimum coverage for business operations

  • Monitor Service Level Agreements and take ownership to address shortfalls or unexpected events

  • Supporting the implementation of change programmes that impact the direct team or process

  • Client due diligence on-boarding checks as defined by prevailing policies and guidelines which may also be regulatory

  • Conduct research using internal and external sources and gather and analyse documentation in accordance with HSBC and regulatory requirements

  • Identify cases where additional checks are required, this may include referring cases for escalation to appropriate teams in line with prevailing policies

  • Ensure all activities and transactions adhere to prevailing HSBC and regulatory standards

  • Provide high quality customer contact by identifying additional needs to both existing and new customers, ensuring HSBC brand values are upheld

  • Individual in this role is required to have a broad understanding of the processes being managed

Our requirements

  • Good knowledge of English

  • Knowledge of French or Greek or German will be an asset

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • Experience in Banking is preferred

  • Evidence of excellent prioritizing, planning and organizing skills

  • Lateral thinker, with ability to manage change and analytical ability to recognize areas of improvement

  • Strong leadership skills evidenced by achievement of objectives together with a track record of development of Individuals with strong organization and planning skills along with the ability to handle Capacities and MI reporting

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage resources to continually improve service and achieve quality targets

  • Highest levels of initiative and decisiveness coupled with high work standards

  • Leadership skills
