Your responsibilities
Support secretariat responsibilities for the Global Whistleblowing Oversight committees, including ensuring timely submission of papers, production of meeting materials, tracking of actions, recording of meeting minutes and management of committee escalations.
Contribute to the completion of periodic effectiveness reviews of various committees and working groups, to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose.
Maintain procedures for governance and reporting processes.
Support the management of responses to scheduled reporting requests for the CPW team.
Help ensure submissions to relevant governance forums are of appropriate quality through the evaluation and contribution to paper drafting.
Coordinate responses to both internal and external ad-hoc reporting requests, including requests from regulators.
Contribute to the completion of the Conduct and Whistleblowing sections of the half year and annual report and accounts.
Support the CPW team in the drafting of presentations for stakeholders.
Our requirements
Previous experience in a governance and reporting role preferable.
Excellent written communication skills in English.
Extensive knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint for the drafting of papers and presentations.
Good professional communication and inter-personal skills, including confidence liaising with stakeholders on various seniority levels.
Experience in a Regulatory Compliance role desirable but not essential.
Organisation and planning skills.
Experience of working within a matrix hierarchy organisation is preferred.

About the role
The financial services industry is subject to increasingly stringent law, regulatory rules and corporate governance obligations towards whistle-blowers and ensuring that the sometimes complex matters and investigation of their concerns are dealt with appropriately. These requirements include the protection of individuals from retaliation; managing potential conflicts of interests; ensuring that underlying causes are considered; and that appropriate preventive/corrective actions are taken. This is a sensitive process which needs to be handled with precision and skill, and the exercise of good judgement.
The Manager Conduct & Whistleblowing Governance & Reporting, is responsible for supporting the management of the governance framework and reporting requirements of the Conduct, Policy and Whistleblowing (CPW) team, in order to ensure an efficient and coordinated approach to the oversight and reporting of Conduct risks. The Manager Conduct & Whistleblowing Governance & Reporting will directly support the Senior Manager Conduct & Whistleblowing Governance & Reporting and the CPW team in-country.
