About the role

  • The financial services industry is subject to increasingly stringent law, regulatory rules and corporate governance obligations towards whistle-blowers and ensuring that the sometimes complex matters and investigation of their concerns are dealt with appropriately. These requirements include the protection of individuals from retaliation; managing potential conflicts of interests; ensuring that underlying causes are considered; and that appropriate preventive/corrective actions are taken. This is a sensitive process which needs to be handled with precision and skill, and the exercise of good judgement.
