About the role
The financial services industry is subject to increasingly stringent law, regulatory rules and corporate governance obligations towards whistle-blowers and ensuring that the sometimes complex matters and investigation of their concerns are dealt with appropriately. These requirements include the protection of individuals from retaliation; managing potential conflicts of interests; ensuring that underlying causes are considered; and that appropriate preventive/corrective actions are taken. This is a sensitive process which needs to be handled with precision and skill, and the exercise of good judgement.
The Manager Conduct & Whistleblowing Governance & Reporting, is responsible for supporting the management of the governance framework and reporting requirements of the Conduct, Policy and Whistleblowing (CPW) team, in order to ensure an efficient and coordinated approach to the oversight and reporting of Conduct risks. The Manager Conduct & Whistleblowing Governance & Reporting will directly support the Senior Manager Conduct & Whistleblowing Governance & Reporting and the CPW team in-country.
