    and Product Compliance EMEA

    Herbalife Nutrition GBSC Kraków

    The role:

    You will ensure the integrity of Herbalife products and product-related materials through the management of Product Regulatory Compliance Specialists, required regulatory actions, and product development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manages regulatory portion of product development for new products and reformulations of existing products from the product compliance angle.
    • Manages regulatory actions that affect all areas of the product.
    • Manages product related regulatory aspects of country openings.
    • Manages process improvement projects.
    • Monitors and reviews day-to-day activity of direct reports, which includes responding to their inquiries and ensuring that communications are accurate and directed at the correct audience.
    • Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to receive updates on current project statuses, to provide direction as needed by the direct reports, and to evaluate priorities in line with the strategic goals of the company.
    • Ensures the continued development of direct reports through the use of quarterly one-on-one meetings to establish goals and provide feedback based on history that teaches how best to meet those goals.
    • Recruits direct reports with the assistance of Human Resources and the department head.
    • Communicates critical issues to department head and other relevant parties in a timely manner, including a proposed solution or set of possible solutions.
    • Reports project statuses to the direct supervisor on a weekly basis, through meetings established by the department head, or through reporting, as necessary.
    • Effectively minimizes in-country attorney and consultant costs through the training of Specialists, without compromising product compliance or product compliance risk.
    • Performs Specialist responsibilities, as needed.
    • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
    • Recruits direct reports with the assistance of Human Resources and the department head.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of work experience ideally in the field of dietary supplements, food products and / or cosmetics
    • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, nutrition, food science or related field preferred
    • Experience in regulatory processes of notification / registration of products preferred.
    • Fundamental understanding of relevant EU legislation and national laws for at least 12 countries in the region
    • Experience in a fast-paced setting with evolving goals and objectives
    • Experience in project management
    • PC skills (email, word-processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
    • Fluency in a second language preferred
    • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills in English
    • Ability to systematically analyze problems and propose thorough, efficient and creative solutions 
      History of working well with others in a group setting
    • Proven organizational skills and ability to multitask
    • Detail-oriented approach
    • Autonomous approach
