Manager Software QA

Location: Wroclaw (Breslau), Poland                                                                     

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time  

As Manager Software QA you work with key stakeholders to ensure that QIAGEN processes, applicable regulations and standards are followed throughout the software lifecycle process. In this position you will be active in local and global multidisciplinary project teams.

The following tasks belong to the field of activity:

  • Representation of the Quality Assurance (QA) department in the development of software for In-vitro diagnostic and medical device products.
  • Review and release of the development documentation regarding conformity to corporate processes, as well as national and international standards.
  • Participation in and approval of risk analysis.
  • Coaching and support of development teams in order to comply with the development process.
  • Support in the further development of the corporate software process and ensuring that it meets international requirements.
  • Support in audits of external software service providers

Position Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, bioinformatics, biology or a related field, alternatively 3+ years of professional experience in the same fields.
  • Experience in the development of software (or Software QA) in a regulated environment (IEC 62304).
  • Knowledge in molecular biology is desirable.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA and Polarion is an advantage.
  • Business fluent English, written and spoken. German language in addition is preferable.

  • High awareness of quality and responsibility.
  • Confident appearance as well as high social competence and communication skills.
  • Interest in independent as well as team-oriented work.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to coordinate several projects.
