You support sourcing for spend categories-including sourcing execution and stakeholder management-to maximize the total value of ownership for the organization. You also work closely with local business and global spend category teams to ensure best practice sharing and driving value for the organization.

How you will contribute
You will take the lead in creating value through innovation, sustainability, risk management, quality, service, cash and productivity programs all while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies and processes. In addition, you will lead in the development and deployment of sourcing strategies and the ongoing management of supplier relationships, manage the supply base working internal and external stakeholders to ensure Mondelēz International’s competitive advantage, completely build a program with the business and suppliers that incorporates best practices, market insights, risks and opportunities, and set a clear vision for various areas, defining and delivering ambitious plans that encourage teams and stakeholders to engage not just in the destination, but also in the journey.

The incumbent will contribute to the transformation from an audit focused supplier management program to one that is risk-based, performance-led and focused on controls and assurance. The role will focus on implementing best practices that mitigating risk, improve capabilities, improve Supplier performance, and drive resolution to escalated Supplier deviations.  Responsibilities include Supplier development, risk identification and reduction, supplier deviation management, and relationship management with internal (Global Supplier Management, Quality, Research and Development, Supply Chain) and external stakeholders.
In this role you will travel up to 50% of your working time.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
  • Min. of 7-10 years quality, procurement, engineering and/or logistics experience within a multi-plant / multi-divisional / multi-national business, required
  • proven track record of successfully managing projects, developing and implementing quality processes, and driving performance improvements with external suppliers.
  • depth in supplier development and supplier quality required
  • knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning & QFD tools
  • proficiency in Lean principles, including implementation with suppliers
  • experience in the packaging industry is a strong asset
