- Work on new launches of car dampers (OEM Customers: BMW, Audi, Stellantis, Ford, VW and others),
- Contribute ideas and concepts of the manufacturing process of dampers,
- Perform capacity analysis to introduce new projects,
- Estimate cost of manufacturing equipment to introduce new projects,
- Estimate productivity and labor cost for new projects,
- Analyze product design and Customer Specific Requirements
- Develop & implement new technologies to the manufacturing process,
- Apply and expand the Manufacturing 4.0 concept to measure and improve processes,
- Initiate and/or perform process analysis (e.g., PFMEA, Design for Manufacture/Assembly),
- Define specification for new equipment to ensure operational availability and quality,
- Define measurement equipment, error-proofing, inspection systems, perform Measurement System Analysis,
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to all aspects of the process manufacturing equipment ensuring quality, safety, capacity, and high value-added operations,
- Perform all necessary studies to assure compatibility of process capability with design requirements.
Our requirements
- (R) Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- (P) Experience in cost estimation process (investment, productivity)
- (P) Experience in process capacity analysis
- (R) Knowledge about lean and Kaizen philosophy
- (R) Computer skills
- (R) MS Excel advanced knowledge
- (P) VBA for Excel
- (R) Ability to use analytic tools like FMEA, SPC, MSA, process mapping
- (P) Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- (R) English – min. intermediate level
